Quietsite, by Epiphani Studios, blocks the sites that pull you off course and lands you
on ONE quiet page: no ads, no nags, no upsells: which you can design with your own photos
and words so the wall becomes a window to what you value. Unlimited blocking is free; the
block list stays on your device. STATUS (2026-08-11): live on the Microsoft Edge Add-ons
Store; the Chrome Web Store listing is submitted and in review. Version 2.5.1 is built and
ships once that review clears. This file never claims a shipping feature that is not
shipping.

## What it does
- The blocked moment, designed: one quiet screen, the site you blocked, a way back.
- The wall becomes a window: your photos or built-in backdrops plus your own words on the
  block page, redirecting the impulse instead of just walling it.
- Unlimited blocking, free; scheduled focus hours.
- The block list lives on your device, never on our servers; no account exists.
- Anonymous usage statistics (arriving in 2.5.1): which features get used, tied to a random
  id. Never the sites you block, any address you visit, or page content. Switchable off in
  Settings; Do Not Track honored.

## Limits, stated plainly
- Chrome Web Store listing is in review; Edge is live.
- Browser-level, not device-level: apps and phones are out of scope.
- No undefeatable lockdown mode; users needing enforcement they cannot disable are better
  served by the nuclear desktop blockers.
